Vision
The Yorkshire Elementary Library vision is for our students to become eager readers, lifelong learners, and responsible citizens.

Mission
Our mission is to provide access to a comprehensive collection of print and electronic materials as well as integrated educational activities.

Book Checkout
We have an open checkout policy.  Students are encouraged to return books as they finish them and check out new ones any time during the school day.  Students may also check out and renew books during their scheduled library time.  Students in Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade check out one book at a time.  Students in Grades 3 - 5 may check out two books at a time.  Students may not check out books if they have any overdue materials.
